Quite often we tend to be moving through live in a low gear, droning through social interactions & not pursuing what is truly meaningful and that which makes us happy. I often feel like a surrogate version of myself constantly on autopilot, a slave to fear, & constantly anxious. Reading this book helped me to take back control & regain my true happy-self I thought lost since being a young child oblivious to the wider implications of the world, especially raising many issues with mental health, this book has guided me through this slump and led me to be driven & ready to tackle anything. Although not an instant solution, garnering the vital lessons from this book has lead to me to a much more positive outlook on life. In difficult times it hard to find a friend willing to listen, never mind a good book to refer to; however Andrea has managed to do just that. Most books require reading from cover to cover, finding time to do this is almost impossible these days, just like bending the ear of a good friend is. Andreas's new book is perfect for dipping into when needed, she draws comparisons from her own life story and reinforces them with tried and tested methodology. Squarely placing her in a position of authority, which in my view she has earned. Her book is a labour of love sweat and dare I say tears, I can’t say it will be the answer to all your prayers, what I can say is it’s a start.
